Box Top for Education Fundraiser Program
Dear Parents and Guardians, The Box Top Fundraiser Program is a great way for you to get involved and help the school raise some much needed capital. This year we have a goal of 10,000 box tops. Whether it’s clipping Box Tops coupons from participating General Mills products, shopping online at the Box Tops Marketplace (www.boxtopsforeducation.com) or charging with the Box Tops Visa® card, you can still help us reach our goal – Encourage friends and family members to help support our school through the Box Tops for Education program too. Every little bit will help.

Also remember, the program doesn’t end when the final school bell rings. Box Tops can be collected all summer, brought to school in the fall and turned in for the 2009-2010 Box Tops for Education fundraiser. Box Tops Marketplace purchases and Box Tops Visa® card purchases made during the summer will also be applied to next year’s Box Tops fundraiser for Blue Lakes Elementary School.

Have you heard the news? We are involved in the FundingFactory Cartridge and Cell Phone Recycling Programs! These programs are FREE and easy but will not work without your support. Simply donate your empty printer cartridges and used cell phones to Blue Lakes Elementary School and we’ll take it from there! We will recycle the cartridges and cell phones through the FundingFactory to earn points, which we can exchange for new technology equipment.

Did you know that over 300 million cartridges were thrown away last year alone? We also replaced or threw away 30,000,000 cell phones! Help us turn this waste into valuable school equipment! Donate your used cell phones and empty laser and inkjet printer cartridges today! Together we can make this recycling program a huge success.

Please donate your cell phones and cartridges by placing them in the collection boxes found at the following locations: School Office and Library.

Every time you use your Target Visa or Target Guest Card® at a Target store or at target.com, they will donate an amount equal to 1% of the total purchases made at Target and target.com, and 1/2% of Target Visa purchases made elsewhere, to our school.
